100% Maracuja Oil, 100% Radiant Skin!

I wanted to share what I have been using lately on my skin day and night as part of my skin care regimen.  Tarte has a wonderful product, that can only be bought at QVC, called Maracuja Oil.  This wonderful little gem from the Amazon has given my skin a radiant glow since I started using it.  I smooth it on at night before I go to bed and in the morning under my sunscreen.  I even rub it on my lips!  It does not feel oily or sticky, but wonderfully smooth and soft.  I wish I could smooth it all over my body as well, but I only have the little bottle given to me in a TSV (Today's Special Value) from QVC.

Lucky #13 at Neiman Marcus' VIP Beauty Event!

I had a 2:30 p.m. appointment to attend Neiman's VIP Beauty Event this Saturday, but it turned out that I was late!  I was then put on a waiting list for the 4:00 o' clock showing.  Lucky me I got in with no problem! They had an area right outside the store reserved for about about 80 people. Six makeup artists demonstrated a variety of products that ranged from skin care to makeup.  On the plushy chair waiting for me was a goodie bag with a nice little yummy treat of mixed nuts.  Next, I sat down and was then greeted by a server with cocktails.  I had a tasty cranberry Martini compliments of Neiman Marcus.  When Neiman's has an event they go all out!  A lady came on the PA and told us to save our VIP ticket because after the show they would have 6 drawings giving away the items talked about.  My ticket was #13.  I thought to myself I never win anything, but I had a funny feeling about this #13!  Did I win something?  Watch and see!

Victoria Snee, author of The Beauty Buzz was there promoting the event!  She is a local celebrity and named one of Dallas' Ten Most Beautiful Women by D Magazine. Victoria has also done countless interviews with celebrities and their makeup artists and in her book she shares their secrets.

Fashion's Night Out is meant to put the fun back into shopping and lots of money into the economy!  Boy was that the case tonight at Neiman Marcus at Northpark Mall.  This fab night started back in 2009 and has been popular ever since.  The official hours for fashion night are from 6-11 p.m. every September 8th.  Celebrities and designers mingle with shoppers all over the world during this fun event.

I got to meet Sylvie Chantecaille once again during FNO.  Her skin care and color collection are very popular at Neiman Marcus.  She is known for her unique ability to intergrade science and technology with botanicals and luxury skincare.  Her products are a "Go Green" type of makeup.  All natural is what she is about!  Best of all Angelina Jolie wears all her makeup!  I got to talk with her and she told me that having Angelina wear her gloss, called Love, at the Golden Globes last year started the craze for her makeup collection.  More and more people are wanting this gloss.  I was lucky enough to get one for my birthday from my cousin Angela (the exact Angelina gloss in Love).  I always get compliments when I wear it.

Chantecaille had these magazines all over the counter because Angelina Jolie is wearing her makeup throughout the magazine. She told me Angelina is wearing the gloss Classic on the cover.  I was able to see this color and fell in love with it.  I also was able to get her to sign my magazine!

Chanel featured a one time deal tonight with the Les Jeans Polishes.  You could only buy the polishes tonight at Neimans and then they were taking them off the shelf for good!  Gorgeous colors!  You can still purchase these at boutiques and Chanel online.
