Get a Radiant Touch with Touche Eclate Foundation!

Hello Gorgeous!

Glowing, natural, gorgeous, luminous skin is what is "IN" right now and for years to come!  This year is YSL's 20th birthday and in celebrating they have created the highly anticipated Touche Eclate Foundation!  I have used the Touche Eclate highlighter/concealer pen for years now and I can't live without it.

This new foundation is unlike any other with it's  luminous glow it gives any face.  It can be applied using either your fingers or foundation brush.  May I also add that with 22 shades this foundation is buildable and brings radiance back to the skin like no other product.  It is also free of opaque fillers, and has a perfecting texture that evens out the complexion while concealing imperfections and enhancing the skin's natural beauty.

Touche Eclate Foundation in 22 Shades

My very own YSL beauty expert, Alexander Valenzuela, at Neiman Marcus Northpark Mall gave me a generous sample so that I could really try it out.  I had a favorite foundation already, but this one has now taken its place!  My skin feels and looks luminous each time I apply it.

DIY Makeup Brush Roll for Travel

Hello Gorgeous!

Sorry I have been gone awhile. I have been visiting my family back home in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas!  Recently my Aunt Chachi and I decided to make a one of my many crafts that I had pinned on Pinterest.  We had so much fun doing it too.  We made a makeup brush roll.  This roll holds all your makeup brushes for travel.  I love it because I was able to pick out the fabric I wanted and put my own unique twist on it. I love leopard, roses, and Paris, France, so you can imagine my excitement when I found fabric that depicted just that!

Here is what my makeup brush roll looks like. You can make your own too. I will leave the link down below for you to visit the website for instruction.

FYI:  My aunt and I are visual learners and we decided to do it our own way just by looking at the pictures.  We did measure the fabric according to the specifications listed on the website and the rest we did on our own.

DIY Milk Facial

Hello Gorgeous!

Milk is absolutely great for your skin!  The lactic acid makes for a super exfoliant. It keeps the skin glowing and gorgeous.  I was reading a blog by Huda Beauty recently and she posted an awesome recipe that I tried.  Here is her recipe:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup oats

Mix all ingredients together and store in a dry container.  When you are ready to use some just grab the desired amount and add water.  Make it into a paste and rub all over your face and body in circular motions.  Rinse off!  Now you have glowing gorgeous skin!

Thanks Huda Beauty for a great recipe! I love it and will continue to use it from now on.

Beauty Icon of the week! Dita Von Tesse

Hello Gorgeous!

Dita Von Tesse has the biggest name in burlesque since Gypsy Rose.  She always tops the best dressed lists over the world.  She is credited for bringing back the glamour and allure of Old Hollywood stars.   Dita is one of my all time favorite beauty icons!  Her style is very 1940ish!  She is a huge collector of the glamour doll heads (something I collect too) along with other vintage items.  I feel like we are kindred spirits.  Instyle Magazine recently had an article depicting her vintage style.  The photos are amazing to look at.

Here is why I love Dita Von Tesse's style and beauty!

DIY Coconut Lip Scrub and The Benefits of Coconut Oil

Hello Gorgeous!

Do you crave kissable lips?  Here is how to make your own lip scrub out of coconut oil, honey, and brown sugar. It is also edible. YUM!!!

How to make your lip Scrub:
1.  mixing bowl
2.  2 tbs of coconut oil
3.  1 tbs of brown sugar
4.  1 tsp of honey to bind it all together
5.  Mix everything together and put into a cute little container (I used baby jars).

My lips after I used my homemade scrub. Super soft!

There are so many benefits of coconut oil that has many people rushing to the supermarket to buy a jar.  Now you can add it to your beauty regimen.

The Benefits for Skin:
It delays wrinkles, and sagging of skin.  Coconut oil also helps in treating various skin problems including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, and other skin infections.

The Benefits for Hair:
It helps in healthy growth of hair!  Before you wash your hair massage your head with coconut oil and this will help free your scalp of dandruff.  It even will rid hair of lice and lice eggs!  Most people use this oil daily on their hair after a bath.  Coconut helps in the re-growth of damaged hair.  I use this every couple of weeks!

FYI:  When you buy the jar of Coconut Oil it comes in a solid form and can be a bit pricey, but it is totally worth it (I spent $7).  You won't use the whole thing for the lip scrub so use it for your hair, face and body!
